RonSan “Ronnee” Lewis is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. Her love for dance began under the direction of Mrs. Cheryl Gaines Jenkins at the La Cher Tari dance school from the age of 3. She continued her dance arts career well into college beginning at Marymount Manhattan College in New York in 1997. She transferred and finished her education at Temple University where she graduated with a B.A. in Communications in 2002. This is her 18th year teaching Dance Arts and Fitness. She taught for 12 years at Dance Institute of Philadelphia as a dance teacher, choreographer and show coordinator. She is the current Assistant Director at Precision and Pride Dance School for the last 10 years. Other schools where she teaches include PointeFlex and D. Richardson Dance Academy where she is currently the Creative Director for the past year. Ronnee has done the choreographic arrangement
for the stage play "Can't Keep A Good Man Down" a Mikee White Production.
Starting summer 2013 through 2016, Ronnee also began teaching and choreographing for the YPTC (Young Performers Theatre Company), a summer intensive dance program for Philadelphia Youth. Other related dance projects include teaching workshops at Philadelphia area schools Global Leadership Academy, Sankofa and Imhotep Charter schools. Most recently she started her own health and wellness brand called RCore Dance and Fitness. RCore Dance and Fitness was created to help community members of all ages in achieving their health and wellness goals through dance and exercise. It includes cardio classes, circuit training with free weights and yoga based routines and exercises, brand apparel and african jewelry.
